A dark fantasy RPG for mobile
DarkBind is a free role-playing game for mobile made by developer Netease Games Global. This action RPG features a dark fantasy setting wherein the world is being threatened by a dark force. Players will take on the Returned One and will fight to save the land from the looming evil.
Similar to Darkness Rises or Lineage 2M, DarkBind mixes high fantasy with horror elements to offer a distinct and memorable action experience. The game lets players create their own unique fighting styles that best suit their preferences as they face off a variety of enemy bosses.
Rising from the ashes
In DarkBind, the world is under threat from The Great Darkness brought about by The Calamity and the Wraiths that have spawned from its Void. You play as the Returned One, a fallen hero that heard the call for help and has risen from your grave to fight once more. It will be up to you to face and battle the forces of evil and save the land once more.
The game lets you freely define your own fighting style based on various attack patterns and stances. You could master the art of dodging as you land precisely timed attacks or you can be an all-out fighter and engage in battle until only one remains. You can even be methodical as you watch for patterns and exploit weak points. The choice is up to you.
If you want more of a challenge, you can test your skills and your best equipment set against other players in real-time online PvP fights. Matches can be configured in a variety of ways and gameplay modes. The only thing you need to know before proceeding is that the game is still in early access. As such, expect more changes to come and bugs to be fixed in future updates.
The Void awaits
DarkBind is another intriguing entry in the dark fantasy RPG genre. It looks great, has an interesting story, and its approach to combat is quite refreshing and will make for some nice variety and combinations. As it's still in active development, expect some bugs here and there, but if you're willing to give it a chance, it's going to be fun and worth the effort.
